Yankee Hanger

Com­mis­sioned in 2013 as part of the project, Side­walk Island, Mark Hand­forth’s Yan­kee Hang­er is sit­ed a short walk from Yan­kee Pier in Liggett Ter­race. This play­ful, snaking sculp­ture invites vis­i­tors to sit on, walk through, and engage with it as it wist­ful­ly tow­ers above the landscape.
