Their mission is to harness the transformative power of art to advocate for alternative perspectives and challenge assumptions, beliefs, and community values. RHAP has a rich history of engaging with the community through various art initiatives that promote creativity, self-expression, and civic awareness. In the past, they have conducted community mural projects, art workshops, and public exhibitions that have positively impacted the neighborhoods they serve. On Governors Island, they will present their programming in collaboration with Red Hook Initiative.
