New York Arts Program

The New York Arts Pro­gram (NYAP) is a ful­ly immer­sive off-cam­pus study pro­gram that pro­vides stu­dents with pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ences in the arts in New York City. Their mis­sion is to serve col­lege stu­dents in the arts by equip­ping them with expert hands-on expe­ri­ence in an increas­ing­ly inter­dis­ci­pli­nary, com­pet­i­tive, glob­al cul­tur­al envi­ron­ment, engag­ing their cre­ativ­i­ty, intel­lect, and skills, and pro­vid­ing them with prac­ti­cal and intel­lec­tu­al tools that pre­pare them for fur­ther study and pro­fes­sions in cre­ative fields. NYAP sees artists as cat­alyt­ic par­tic­i­pants in this soci­ety and seeks to cul­ti­vate their abil­i­ty to sus­tain their work and enrich their communities.
