XOXO Dance Intervention

The West Harlem Art Fund, NY Artist Equi­ty Asso­ci­a­tion and NYU Gal­latin Wet­Lab are pre­sent­ing dancer Salma Kiuhan for a free, one-day per­for­mance in Nolan Park. The work is inspired by the pub­lic art sculp­ture XOXO by Miguel Otero Fuentes, on dis­play out­side Nolan Park Build­ing 10. XOXO is an open heart made of two crossed cir­cles. The sculp­ture is made of hol­low curved alu­minum mem­bers with strate­gi­cal­ly locat­ed inter­nal steel weights.
