Free and open to all. RSVPs are recommended, but not required.
Join us for a day of workshops, performances, and celebrations for all ages that will create community and elevate Black voices. Through this day-long event, we will work together to create a safe and nurturing space for self care and reflection where participants can tune in to their needs, honor their feelings, and begin to return to themselves.

10:30, 11, 11:30AM: Ferries to the Island (click here for tickets)
11AM: Doors Open
11:30AM-12PM: Sound Bath with The Healing Tree NYC, curated by DuYe Moves
12 – 1PM: Unapologetically Ours: Redefining and Reclaiming Safe Spaces, featuring Moradeyo Adeyi (Mental Health Psychotherapist), Teya Knapp (Mental Health Advocate & Activist; CEO, A Safe Space Mentor), Benje Williams (Cofounder & CEO, Outlandish), and Shelley Worrell (Founder & CEO, I AM caribBEING). Moderated by Shola Gbemi (Social Impact Strategist).
1 – 3PM: Social Hour with DJ sets curated by Half Moon BK, floral giveaways from Stolen Magnolia, art activities with Red Hook Art Project, and food and drink from Makina Café.
2:30, 3, 3:30PM: Ferries off the Island (no separate ticket required)
Presented in partnership with A Safe Space Mentor. Space generously provided by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
