Flux Treasure Island

Flux Trea­sure Island is an island-wide scav­enger hunt pre­sent­ed by Flux Fac­to­ry tak­ing place Fri­day, Octo­ber 21, through Sun­day, Octo­ber 23. Art­works will be hid­den all across Gov­er­nors Island in secret unex­pect­ed loca­tions. Cryp­tic clues on a trea­sure map will guide vis­i­tors to their des­ti­na­tions. Works will include site-spe­cif­ic sculp­ture, per­for­mance, video, AR, and more. They might respond to the local area and its his­to­ry, or maybe they will play with viewer’s per­cep­tions. Some pieces will only be vis­i­ble at cer­tain times, so everyone’s expe­ri­ence will be dif­fer­ent. Addi­tion­al­ly, they’ll present per­for­mances by var­i­ous artists. Start the adven­ture at Colonels Row Build­ing 404A, where you can pick up a trea­sure map and start searching!
