Residency Unlimited x KODA
Weekly on Friday and Saturday, starting from Sep 17, 2022, until Oct 8, 2022
Colonels Row - Colonels Row - Building 404B
On September 17, Saddie Choua will screen three films and hold a live performance where she will sit outside KODA house to interview visitors and passers-by. The films will be on view until October 8, 2022.
The artist connects the history of Governors Island with her films and their main characters: women locked in a Moroccan prison, in racism, discrimination, families and households, occupation or oriental discourses. Together with Island visitors, she will build a new film of healing, recipes, and poetry.
