Hap­py Hol­i­days from Gov­er­nors Island

On behalf of all of us on Gov­er­nors Island, thank you for all that you did to help make 2010 the best year yet here. As you know, more than 443,000 vis­i­tors came to the Island this year to take a car-free bike ride, swing in a ham­mock at Pic­nic Point, hear a con­cert, see an art exhi­bi­tion, play artist-designed minia­ture golf and pro­vide com­ments on the Gov­er­nors Island Park and Pub­lic Space Mas­ter Plan. Best wish­es for a won­der­ful hol­i­day sea­son and a Hap­py New Year! We look for­ward to wel­com­ing you back on May 27, 2011 when the Island re-opens to the public.
