Sup­port Gov­er­nors Island on #Giv­ingTues­dayNow, May 5

With 120 acres of open space, Gov­er­nors Island is a nat­ur­al haven for New York­ers. While the Island’s open­ing is delayed, the need to care for and main­tain our park con­tin­ues dur­ing this chal­leng­ing time. On Tues­day, May 5, we’re par­tic­i­pat­ing in the glob­al day of giv­ing, #Giv­ingTues­dayNow to raise funds and sup­port for this oasis in New York Harbor.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help care for the Island’s 120 acres of open space dur­ing the weeks and months ahead. These funds will sup­port our park main­te­nance staff in pro­vid­ing crit­i­cal care for the Island’s land­scapes, so all New York­ers can enjoy the Island when we’re able to wel­come you back to its shores. There are lots of ways to sup­port us on #Giv­ingTues­dayNow:
