This just in … the name of the new beer from Six­point Craft Ales in Red Hook Brook­lyn in hon­or of Meatopia on Gov­er­nors Island (and the sub­ject of yes­ter­day’s Frosty Cold Beer Nam­ing Con­test) is .… Six­point Sig­nal. Not only is it catchy, it also ref­er­ences the many sig­nals sent out from Gov­er­nors Island over it’s his­to­ry: fog horns, smoke sig­nals, tech­no par­ties. Thanks to every­one who sent us thi­er ideas! But don’t let these great beer names go to waste,people. Go forth in the spir­it of Good Beer Month and make great beer to fit the great names!
