Works on Water and Underwater New York invite you to join visual, performing, and literary artists working on, in and with the water on Governor’s Island this summer. The artist residency program provides an incubator space for diverse investigations of water in the urban environment. The open studios, performances, monthly conversations and exhibition feature work from around the world and invite the public into a dialogue about the emerging field of Water Art. Please join Works on Water as they work to build and strengthen the community of artists and practitioners working in water-based planning, science, policy and art to define the future of our waterways. Located in House 5B in Nolan Park.
