The Governors Beach Club, located on the north shore of the Island, serves food and drink. Vendors sell a variety of food choices and they are located at two locations: at the Food Court at King Avenue and at Picnic Point. Picnic tables are available at the Food Court and at Picnic Point.
King Avenue Food Court
Pyramid Coffee: Pyramid sells
a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, drinks, chips,
snacks and ice cream.
Perfect Picnic: Perfect
Picnic offers a take away picnic of bread, various cheeses,
charcuterie and beverages. You can pick from a ‘Classic’,
‘American’ or ‘Kid’ picnics!
Veronica’s Kitchen: Veronica’s
Kitchen, a former Vendy award winner, cooks up West
Indian favorites such as Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat.
Veronica’s has a variety of homemade beverages and delicious
sides.
Pete’s: Pete offers a wide
variety of hot sandwiches, beverages and delicious snacks.
Mr. Softee: Mr. Softee offers
the classic ice cream essentials of the summer, along
with beverages and novelties.
Picnic Point
Little Eva’s: Little
Eva’s offers a beer garden serving beer and wine. In
addition, Little Eva’s specializes in seafood dishes
including salads and sandwiches, as well as having soft
drinks available.
Fauzia’s Heavenly Delight:
Fauzia’s returns to Picnic Point again this year with
her unique Caribbean-Neuvou and multi-ethnic cuisine.
Fauzia has Caribbean chicken and lamb dishes, as well
as a variety of vegetarian and vegan options.
Pyramid Coffee: Pyramid sells
a variety of ice cream and coffee drinks – a subset
of their site on King Avenue.
Visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and
picnics to the Island. Visitors are not permitted to
bring alcohol to the Island; however alcohol is available
for purchase at the Governors Beach Club and Little
Eva's. Alcohol must be at the Beach Club.

Bathrooms
Indoor bathrooms and port-a-sans are available for visitors
to use once they arrive on Governors Island.
Indoor bathrooms are located on the upper and lower
level of Building 110, adjacent to the ferry landing.
There are also trailer bathrooms located at Picnic
Point and indoor bathrooms in the Battery Maritime Building
in Lower Manhattan and Pier 6 in Brooklyn.
Port-a-sans are located throughout the Island.
Bathrooms and certain port-a-sans are wheelchair accessible.
Water
Water is available for purchase at a variety of vendors
or machines or visitors can bring their own water.
